It reports that children whose parents paid bribes to get them into college could now be charged in criminal cases. Read more

Keeping employees from quitting their jobs after only a month or two is becoming a bigger challenge for many businesses across the county. As one executive at an auto components manufacturer recently told us, “We hire young employees and then we can’t get them to stay around for more than a month or two, even if we offer them a bonus they have to wait three months to get. They get a little more money at other companies, and they are gone. This problem affects not only employees we expect to employ permanently, but summer employees and even interns.” Read more
As our name indicates, research is the lifeblood of the Student Research Foundation. But as any diligent researcher can tell you, the process of conducting research is facilitated when organizations like ours partner up and share resources with other organizations. When different organizations agree to cooperate, they can share data they already have, conduct new research together and enjoy other benefits. The net result is that the research that results is based on more comprehensive data – and in many ways, the research improves. Read more
